Kling 4.0 Flash is the lighter, faster model in the Kling 4.0 family, and the only part of Kling 4.0 you can use today. It makes 3–20 second clips at 720p. Kling is rolling it out to a limited group first, and its membership page lists it only on the Ultra annual plan.

Is Kling 4.0 Flash free?
No. Kling's membership page lists Kling 4.0 Flash only on the Ultra yearly plan (US$1,429.99 per year). The free Basic plan does not include it.
Is Kling 4.0 Flash the same as Kling 4.0?
No. Flash is a lighter model built on Kling 4.0. It stops at 20 seconds and 720p, and it has no first/last frame or multi-keyframe control. The full Kling 4.0, with 30-second clips, 4K and up to 10 keyframes, is planned for October 2026.
Does Kling 4.0 Flash support keyframes?
No. Kling's FAQ says Flash does not support first/last frames or multi-keyframes. Image-to-video in Flash uses a first frame only.
Can Kling 4.0 Flash make 1080p or 4K video?
No. Kling's spec table lists 720p in 8-bit SDR for Flash. 1080p, 4K and 10-bit HDR are listed for the full Kling 4.0 only.
How much does a Kling 4.0 Flash video cost in credits?

Will Flash open to other plans?
Not announced. Kling has not said whether Flash or the full Kling 4.0 will come to Standard, Pro, Premier or free users.
